Sapa is a city in the northwest of Vietnam, known for some of its interesting architecture like the Catholic Church. This is shown against a mountainous background in this contemporary Asian artwork by Lam Manh. The face of the Church caught in the slanting rays of the morning sun looks peaceful. The piece attracts us with the simplicity of Manh’s painting style.
